How does the free email verification work?
Enter an address in the checker. We validate its syntax, look up the domain's MX records and perform an SMTP handshake with the mail server. The free demo allows five checks per day. A free account includes 100 checks every month, plus bulk upload and API access.
What counts as valid, invalid or risky?
Valid means the domain accepts mail and the mailbox exists. Invalid means the mailbox does not exist or the domain cannot receive mail. Risky, catch-all, disposable and unknown results tell you the address needs caution — they are not safe to mail blindly.
Can I verify a whole email list?
Yes. Upload an Excel or CSV file, or paste a list, and download color-coded results. Your name, company and other columns stay in the file. Bulk verification is available on free and paid plans.
Do you charge for catch-all or risky results?
No. Risky, unknown, catch-all and machine-generated results are free. Only clear valid and invalid results use credits, so you are never charged for an ambiguous answer.
Is there an API for email verification?
Yes. Every account includes API access, so you can validate addresses inside sign-up forms, CRMs, checkout flows or any application in real time. The API documentation includes examples and status definitions.
Is there a WordPress plugin and native integrations?
Yes. The WordPress plugin validates sign-ups, comments and checkout forms before they reach your CRM. Native integrations cover Zapier, Google Sheets, HubSpot and Mailchimp, and a REST API with signed webhooks, CLI and PHP/Python SDKs is available for custom stacks.
Will verification stop every bounce?
No tool can promise that. Mailboxes disappear between checks, and some servers refuse to answer. Verification removes the addresses that are already dead or risky — which is the majority of preventable bounces — and gives you a defensible sending list.
